A charming bookmark depicting princess Kaguya's japanese fairytale from 10th century.

Once upon a time, an old bamboo cutter called Taketori discovers in the forest a strange glowing bamboo and carefully cuts it open. Inside, he finds a small and magnificent baby girl sleeping. Taketori decides to bring the baby home to his wife's delight. They name her "Shining Princess of the Young Bamboo Kaguya". She brings joy to the family and even prosperity. But one day, as she turns into a beautiful woman, Kaguya has the intuition she doesn't belong to this world and claims that she, in fact, is a princess exiled from the moon.

In a dreamlike scenary, the beautiful princess Kaguya returns to the moon, her true home. Rabbits dwells in the sky, escorting her. Rabbits are believed to inhabit the celestial orb.

6,30 x 1,70 inches bookmark printed on premium and acid free 224 g/m2 smooth and grainy textured paper.

Both sides are printed, the back is illustrated with a cute rabbit pattern.
